Given a collection of balance records, returns the balance that the given transaction would post to or creates a new balance record

Parameters:

balanceList - a Collection of balance records

t - the transaction to post

Returns:

the balance to post against

updateBalance

void updateBalance(Transaction t,
                 Balance b)

Updates the balance based on the given transaction

Parameters:

t - the transaction to post

b - the balance being posted against
