Goals available for this plugin:

GoalDescription
version:get-major-versionStores the major version of the project as a property. The mojo assumes 3 digit versions eg "1.0.1" and counts "1.0" as the major version

The following specifies the minimum requirements to run this Maven plugin:

Maven2.0
JDK1.6
MemoryNo minimum requirement.
Disk SpaceNo minimum requirement.

Usage

You should specify the version in your project's plugin configuration:
