Description:

Generate encrypted values for the specified system or project properties.

Attributes:

  • Requires a Maven project to be executed.

Required Parameters

Name Type Since Description
password String - The password for encrypting property values. This same password can be used to to decrypt the encrypted values.
properties String[] - The list of properties containing values to encrypt
quiet boolean - If true, the plugin will emit no logging information
Default value is: false.
show boolean - If true, the plain text values being encrypted are displayed to the console.
Default value is: false.
suffix String - The encrypted value for the properties are stored under their original property key with this text appended to the end. eg "database.password" is stored as "database.password.encrypted"
Default value is: encrypted.

password:
